Studeous
What is Studeous?
"Studeous is a learning and school management system that utilizes web 2.0 technologies to bring the most useful and practical features of the internet into the forefront of the classroom."
Here a just a few features of Studeous. Users can:
- Create club or study group pages with a specific url to put on flyers or tell people, (for example: Studeousedu.com/chess)
- Access and view information about their classes, teachers, homework, and due dates all in a simplified format.
- Create events and invite students and teachers.
- Communicate through discussion boards automatically created for every new page made (event, club, class, study group, or team).
- Quickly compose an email message to a teacher or fellow student by selecting him or her from a drop down list.
- Create a profile page listing your own interests and contact info.
Studeous is free but currently in private beta; you will need a registration code to sign up. However, leave your email address and they will send you one.
