Now that the Learning Technologies conference is over, I've had time to reflect on some of the exhibitors. Caspian Learning is an intriguing one. Here's how they describe themselves in the Exhibitors list.
"Caspian Learning is the leader in the use of 3D games and simulations technology for education and training, having developed over 50 ‘Serious Games’ applications in sectors as diverse as motor, finance, pharmaceuticals, defence, education and adult skills.
Caspian has researched and built the unique, technology platform - Thinking Worlds™. This delivers highly immersive ‘performance simulations’ within engaging 3D worlds. Thinking Worlds enables performance simulations to be rapidly and cost effectively developed by subject matter experts and instructional designers and delivers these through your network in a SCORM compliant way."
And with Donald Clark as a non-exec director, and Clive Shepherd as the Technical Advisor, it is certainly a company to take a closer look at.
