Last year I wrote an article for e.learning magazine called 25 Tools Every Learning Professional should have in their Toolbox - and all for free! The article became very popular and I created a supporting presentation, some tools tutorials and even set up a Ning community to support the resource.
I have now produced a 2009 version of the list, and instead this year's 25 Tools resource contains 25 categories of learning tool. Within each tool category I provide the name of the most popular tools from the emerging 2009 Top Tools for Learning, as selected by learning professionals worldwide. The majority of tools in the Toolbox are FREE tools, although a number of commercial tools are included. Some of the tools are desktop tools; others are online services. I have written another article for e.learning magazine (to be printed in their next edtion) and produced a supporting presentation (see below). (In fact, at the time of writing, this presentation is featured on the Slideshare front page).
For full information about each of the tools mentioned in the article and presentation, please go to the 25 TOOLS 2009 resource page at the main website.
