As a consequence of my professional practice helping learning professionals and corporates understand what learning 2.0 means to them, I have undertaken a few new projects:
- In order to satisfy the need to deliver my workshops more widely and to provide continuing support to my clients, I have begun to convert them into online versions suitable for both individuals and small groups to work on as they would like. The first two general "programmes" are ready and free: An introduction to E-Learning (previously known as the E-Learning Handbook) and the 25 Tools programme. However, the specific programmes for workplace learning professionals will be coming onstream shortly. Full details of all these programmes can be found here.
- In order to provide a place for discussion of content and issues in the online workshops, I have set up a new community, Workplace Learning 2.0. But I am opening it up to anyone who wants to discuss anything related to Learning 2.0 in the Workplace (rather than in Education). This is a nascent community but there are already a few discussion items in there, and of course members are free to start their own.
- I have also retitled and refocussed one of my other blogs, The E-Learning News as Workplace Learning 2.0 in order to post any news, resources, tools and events specifcally intended for workplace learning professionals.
