In my predictions of tools that had a good chance of making it into the Top 100 Tools in 2009, I mentioned ScreenToaster.
The new version of ScreenToaster has improved functionality:
- live audio capture
- embed webcam in screen capture
- subtitles
- accelerated or slow-motion playback
- download the completed screencast
(experimental).
ScreenToaster has recently been reviewed in a number of places, e.g.
- Amit Agarwal at Digital Inspiration says ScreenToaster "does a YouTube for screen videos"
- Frederic Lardinois at ReadWriteWeb thinks ScreenToaster "is clearly taking on Jing"
- Robin Good at Master New Media calls ScreenToaster "a dream come true"
So if you haven't yet tried ScreenToaster, now's the time!
Just did a series of 5 short videos on how to use PebblePad. It works.
