Thanks for picking Tagcrumbs.com. We were also thinking a lot in the direction of collaborative collections of places, organized by tag or location criteria. For example if the whole class agrees on one common tagging scheme (e.g.. 'soc101-ucb') it is easy to filter by this and everyone can create independently their stories about specific places and someone evaluates the aggregated view.
