AlertThingy

I heard abut AlertThingy in a tweet this morning from @DonaldHTaylor, and thought it was worth sharing today as my Pick of the Day.  This is how they position themselves:

"AlertThingy brings the very latest updates from your favourite social networks direct to your desktop. Send Tweets, update your Facebook status, upload photos to Flickr, post to Tumblr and more. For business users we have Yammer, Basecamp and Huddle integrations. So you can mix work and play."

I think we are going to see more and more of ths type of tool that lets you integrate different social media tools.  If you know of any others, please share details below ...

I set up Tweetdeck last week - it is cool to manage the barrage of tweets just a little better. Will try this out and see if my 2.0 life can be better managed.
