Mike, from portageinteractive.com emailed me about GradePad, an iPhone/iPod touch performance assessment too, now available on the iPhone Store for $1.99. With GradePad you can:
- Manage groups.
- Create assessments
- Track performance.
- Report progress.
Look for a free NECC version to be released on June 28th. Pro version on July 4th.

Hello Jane. I am a new GradePad user and I think the potential of this app is great. The one problem I have is with its send results feature.
When I send the results from Itouch I get the email for the group that I created but only get the gradepad definitions and none of the other data I have created, such as student assessments etc. This is where this app as far as I can tell is lacking.
I tried contacting gradepad but have yet to hear from them and there is scant information in there faq's and as of yet noone on their forums.

We've received your comments and are looking into it.
When you send a group's assessments, you should receive the definitions and the assessment data.
You should see data like this:
GradePad Definitions:
GradePad: Interpersonal
Criteria 1: Listens
Definition: Listens attentively to others without interrupting.
Criteria 2: Respects
Definition: Respects others property, opinions, personal space, and physical well-being.
Criteria 3: Reacts
Definition: Reacts with appropriate and calm body language without anger, disruption, threats, or physical attacks.
Criteria 4: Responds
Definition: Responds to others in clear, polite language without defensive, argumentative, or bad language.
Assessments:
GradePad: Interpersonal
Individual: Troy Smith

Be sure the group you've created is checked when you send.
