John Sturman emailed me to suggest Librivox as a Pick of the Day. He writes:
Librivox is a site that archives read books as MP3s or podcast feeds for iTunes. All the books are in the public domain and recorded by volunteers to also be in the public domain. I find that the readers are almost as good as professionals. I listened to a reading of a Chekhov short story by a guy in a heavy Russian accent. I am also listening to a series of science fiction short stories.
Thanks John. Got a suggestion for a Pick of the Day? If so, email details to me at [email protected]
